Come behind the scenes with us at the National Ploughing Championships last week

Each year Order of Malta Ireland – Ambulance Corps provides first aid and emergency cover at the ploughing. This is one of our biggest events of the year with an onsite medical centre and dozens of volunteer medics each day supporting those in need of assistance. A huge operation, with months of planning, the week runs smoothly thanks to that hard work of senior officers who themselves are all volunteers and work tirelessly in advance of the week and on the week itself.
Working with the onsite teams from national ploughing every aspect including volunteer safety and welfare, the skill level of teams and real time monitoring of patient trends is used to ensure the event runs as efficently as possibly and patients recieve the best quality of care.
