St. John’s Day was celebrated by the Organisation this past weekend at an event in Dublin. The celebration started with members coming together at St Mary’s Church, Haddington Road, for a Mass officiated by H.E. The Most Rev. Luis Mariano Montemayor, Apostolic Nuncio,
This was followed by a reception and lunch where Several members of the Organisation and its charitable works received recognition in the form of the Sovereign Order of Malta Campaign Medal from Rome for their service to it and the community during the recent Covid-19 pandemic.
In recognition of 40 years of dedicated service working for the Order of Malta in Ireland, Ms Julie Ryder received the Order Pro Merito Melitensi Crucem cum Numismate from the Grand Magistry in Rome.
