The Austrian Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, made her first official visit to the Order of Malta today.
She met with our Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo to discuss the situation in the Middle East, with a focus on the Order’s projects in Palestine, including the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem and our aid efforts in Gaza.
The Minister expressed particular appreciation for the Order’s work in Austria and in major crisis areas.
